Vista DPI Scaling and Start Menu Bugs.

I found some problem
I have change the Number of recent program to display to 18.
Then I have change the DPI scaling to 120DPI.
Then it show out a message say some recent program in menu cannot be display.
Then I go to Customize Start Menu and Click Use Default Setting.

After that,
1.the function of display recent program on the start menu totally doesn't work.
And
2.the function of Number of recent program to display totally doesn't work, I cant make any change again.

It is vista style start menu, but without the function of display recent program on start menu, it is very inconvenient to use.

Please help me solve the problem and send mail to me. Thanks.
